George Washington University Rescinded Melissa Williams-Brown's Bachelor's Degree for Academic Fraud and Misconduct
Many people lie about their education on a CV and even to potential employers. Others, like Melissa Williams-Brown of Adelaide South Australia, go to extreme measures to fake a college degree that was rescinded years ago by George Washington University.
Melissa Williams-Brown, a 50-year old Adelaide "information security consultant", went to extraordinary lengths to fake a college degree that was revoked years ago. She made false claims in engagement announcements she placed in several newspapers - including the Los Angeles Times and Irvine World News.
Miranda Sieg of alumni relations said she "cannot find any records" of her enrollment.
Desiree Bascomb, a spokesperson from media relations, said in an email: "Our records office is unable to find a record of her attendance."
